The Queen Victoria Hospital is an internationally-renowned specialist unit that developed a global reputation during World War II.
Today it remains at the forefront of specialist care as a regional centre for burns, ophthalmic, plastic reconstructive and maxillofacial surgery and orthodontics.
As part of the Eye Unit (known as the Corneo-Plastic Unit) at The Queen Victoria Hospital, Mr Malhotra provides most areas of ophthalmic surgery, including modern small-incision cataract surgery. The unit's special interests include corneal surgery (the Corneo Plastic Unit & Eyebank run by Mr Malhotra's colleagues, Mr Sheraz Daya and Mr Damian Lake) and specialist plastic reconstructive surgery in the eyelid region
A region-wide service for specialist techniques in oculoplastic surgery offers the most modern techniques for dealing with eyelid tumours, facial palsy rehabilitation, thyroid eye disease and watery eyes.
If you would like to discuss your condition or arrange an appointment, please contact Mr Malhotra's NHS secretary, Christine Edwards, on +44 (0)1342 414549, or via email christine.edwards@qvh.nhs.uk
